My name is Brandon and I am the founder of One Swing Away Golf. My golf experience started in my mid 20s and like many, I became obsessed and wanted to figure out how I could become a better golfer. I quickly realized that the barrier of entry to golf is steep. Between the cost of equipment, range balls, a round of golf and limited hours of daylight, I quickly became deflated knowing how difficult it was going to be to actually become a good golfer…

This is where my journey with golf simulators began. I put a cheap, video game like simulator in my garage which allowed me to get my fix and fueled my passion for the game, however, because it was so cheap(I was hitting foam balls into a net off of a little sensor) it wasn’t actually helping my game translate to real life.

After a move for work took me to a city where it was nearly impossible to play golf, I was introduced to my first commercial golf simulator facility where I would go on to spend hours a day on Full Swing simulators. Not only progressing my game in a way I couldn’t imagine, but also introducing me to people who shared my same passion for golf. Giving me a community I greatly valued.

After moving back to Queen Creek, I knew there had to be other people just like me. Who struggled to make it to a driving range or a course during the day, didn’t have time for a 5 hour round, didn’t have a good way to meet other golfers, and couldn’t afford to hit as many balls as they wanted at the hours that actually worked with their schedule.

At One Swing Away, we take pride in being a facility suitable for all skill levels and being a warm and welcoming place for any golfer to hang out and play. Golf is an amazing game that teaches you so many things and can bring so much joy. One of the best feelings in the world is a perfectly hit golf shot and that’s something I want everyone to experience.
